4 simple steps to wash a wig
Step1. Preparation
Before you wash, make sure you carefully detangle the hair using a wide tooth comb. Start from ends and work toward the root to decrease shedding whether it is synthetic or human hair.
Step2. Rinse
Use cold water or lukewarm water,please choose the shampoo for synthetic hair specially if you wash synthetic wigs. Choose the shampoo for real hair or natural hair specially if you wash human hair wigs.Loosen shampoo in your hand and get bubbles and distribute them evenly throughout the whole wig.Rinse from roots to ends in one direction. Do not soak or rub as this can lead to tangling.
Step3. Condition
If your hair starts to be a little bit dry. Spray some hair conditioner from the middle to the ends.But please don’t spray any in the roots or knots.
Step4. Clean & dry
Clean all the shampoo and conditioner till no bubbles. Then take one towel to remove the excess water,put it on the wig stand to be natural dry or blow dry about 80%. If it is curly, it is better to shape the curl as original.It will help the curls keeping.
